About Us

Our Story and Passion

I’m Dan, and along with my family, we’ve created Dan Pug Paradise out of pure love for these incredible little dogs. Our journey with pugs began over a decade ago when we welcomed our first pug into our home. That adorable, snorting bundle of joy completely stole our hearts, and we knew immediately that pugs were something special. What started as a deep appreciation for the breed evolved into a passion for raising healthy, happy pug puppies that bring the same joy to other families.

Our cattery isn’t a large commercial operation, it’s our home, where we live and breathe everything pug. We keep our breeding program small and selective because we believe quality always trumps quantity. This approach allows us to give each puppy individualized attention and ensures that every single one receives the socialization and care needed to thrive. Our puppies aren’t raised in kennels; they’re raised in our living room, kitchen, and backyard, experiencing real family life from day one.

Both of our breeding dogs live with us as beloved family pets first and foremost. They sleep on our beds, join us for movie nights, and are completely integrated into our daily routines. We believe happy, well-adjusted parents produce happy, well-adjusted puppies, and you can see this reflected in the temperament of every pup we raise.

My family and I are hands-on throughout the entire process. We’re there for every birth, every feeding, every first step and first bark. We handle our puppies daily, exposing them to various sights, sounds, and experiences that prepare them for life in their new homes. By the time your puppy comes home with you, they’ve been cuddled by kids, heard vacuum cleaners and doorbells, and learned that the world is a safe, interesting place to explore.

We’re not just here to provide you with a puppy, we’re here to start a relationship. Many of our families stay in touch for years, sharing photos and updates that absolutely make our day. When you adopt from Dan Pug Paradise, you’re joining our extended family, and we genuinely care about every puppy’s lifelong happiness.
